What will it cost?

The pricing for Power of Attorney (POA) and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) varies depending on circumstances.

Why is an LPA so important?

Without an LPA, if you lose the ability to make your own decisions, your family would need to apply to the Court of Protection to be appointed as your ‘deputy’. This process can be costly, time-consuming and stressful. Having an LPA in place ensures that trusted people are in control and that your wishes are carried out exactly as you planned.

LPAs will also be subject to an £82.00 per document Office of the Public Guardian Fees.

The prices are as follows:

• Single Lasting Power of Attorney = £400 + VAT | TOTAL £480
• Pair of Lasting Powers of Attorney = £600 + VAT | TOTAL £720
• Two Pairs of Lasting Powers of Attorney = £900 + VAT | TOTAL £1,080
